Jurnal Rekonstruksi dan Estetik is a medical journal managed by Universitas Airlangga, Surabaya, Indonesia. We collaborate with the Indonesian Collegium of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (PERAPI) and focus on publishing the latest and high-quality articles in fields such as burn and wound care, hand surgery, microsurgery, oncoplastic surgery, craniofacial surgery, external genitalia reconstruction, and aesthetics.
To ensure high standards of quality, authors are expected to adhere to our journal’s guidelines. Articles undergo a rigorous selection process to determine which manuscripts will be published, as we only publish fourteen manuscripts per year.

1. Align with Our Journal’s Aim and Scope

2. Bring the Authentic, Original, and High in Novelty
Verify that your manuscript presents original research that has not been published elsewhere. Assess whether your manuscript offers new insights or findings that have not been previously published. Novelty and originality are key factors in the evaluation process.
3. Follow the Author Guidelines
Read and adhere to the author guidelines available on our journal’s website. These guidelines include important details about manuscript preparation, required formatting, and other submission requirements. 4. Adhere to Our Formatting and Style Requirements

5. Prepare the Patient Consent for Publication Form (for Case Reports) and the Author Declaration Form
For manuscripts that include case reports, prepare and attach the Patient Consent for Publication Form. Additionally, complete and include the Author Declaration Form, which affirms the authors’ responsibilities and adherence to ethical standards. 6. Check for Plagiarism
Utilize plagiarism detection tools to ensure that your manuscript is free from plagiarism. Our journal maintains high academic integrity, and manuscripts with any form of plagiarism will be rejected. Ensure that all citations and references are properly attributed.The submitted manuscript will be checked using Turnitin software and at least less than 20% passing grade with no more than 10 similar consecutive words in each sentence. 7. Review and Submit Your Manuscript
Conduct a final review of your manuscript to ensure there are no typographical errors, factual inaccuracies, or other issues.
